Hello my friends, and fellow bloggers. Ok, so I’ve eaten everything today that I’m probably not supposed to eat, but look this is the thing. I’m a very greedy person. I mean. I absolutely love food. It’s my comfort. It makes me happy, and it helps calm me in stressful situations. Although these are not good reasons to eat, they are for me, for now. I haven’t checked my blood sugar because I’m always running around. So I’m going to challenge myself to actually check my BS tomorrow 4 Times. I’m going to actually set reminders so that I don’t forget, and I’ll definitely report back to you guys to let you have a glimpse of what’s actually going on.
All in all, continue to have a fabulous Friday.
I have not been in the blogging mood at all. Not only that. I haven’t been in a checking my blood sugars 4 times a Day mood at all either. I just had my visit with my endocrinologist, and my A1c was 9.8. Now we all know that’s not good. It’s not deathly. But it’s not good. So I promised myself that this year I would do better with checking my blood sugars, but I have yet again jumped on the lazy wagon. Maybe this blog will help me with remembering to check before and after I eat. We shall see.
I’ve come to the conclusion that In the near future I may have to consider a fast acting insulin. I haven’t had to use this sort, but it looks as though I may have to use this only when I’m getting ready to eat a high carb meal, just so that I don’t spike so high.
Most Type 1’s are already using this method. I honestly didn’t think I would have to. But it looks as though I will have to. 😏
I’m just not getting the numbers I would like to have after I eat. Most times they aren’t that bad. Just not where I would want them to be. 😔

Good Tuesday morning guys. It has been quite some time since I have shared a story.
I have some really good news about a trial that I’m participating in. It’s in regards to the new glucose meter Livongo.
You guys this meter is heaven sent. I will make a video later on today just to show you guys how it works. So I’ll give you a quick run down. It is similar to a smartphone but very small. It’s touch screeen. Yes. You heard me correct. It’s touch screen.
One of the main features that I just absolutely love is the fact that you can set your lows and your high. And if you reach either of those you can also set who receives the alert.
For example. I have my boyfriend my mom, my dad and my endocrinologist set to receive my alerts when I’m too high and I’m too low. They actually receive text messages within seconds of the glucose check.
I can’t wait to show you guys. In the meantime. You guys are more than welcome to research livongo to see if it would be a good fit for you. See you guys later on today.
HAVE A HAPPY TUESDAY.
Most people are comfortable with the fact that what we don’t know can’t hurt us. In a diabetics life that can be dangerous. I’ve been very guilty of this kind of mind set. Not checking my blood sugar just so I can feel comfortable eating what I want.
In turn, I end up not feeling well because I’ve over done it with the sugar in take. I strongly recommend everyone in the same situation to maintain a consistency of monitoring their blood sugar.
HAVE A HAPPY SATURDAY
Happy Friday my friends. I wanted to bring to everybody’s attention the different types of mood swings that a person with type 1 diabetes or any other types of diabetes for that matter could have. This may not sound true. Oh, but it is.
Everyone healthy or not has that bad mood swing when they’re Hungary. For diabetics I believe it’s worse. This is because not only are you Hungary but with that comes the fear of dropping low. We know that if we haven’t ate in a while and our stomachs are giving us this mean growl then we could possibly also getting ready to go in a low blood sugar state, which in turn. Causes ANXIETY 😤.
So with that being said. If you have a love one or a close friend who’s diabetic and they’re giving you an extremely hard time because they’re Hungary. Think about everything I just explained, and help them as calmly as possible.
Hi guys. It looks as though Wednesday’s are my better days
So I do have another scary story. I had another scary blood sugar drop during lunch yesterday. Yes? During lunch. My blood sugar was 87 during lunch so that means I was extremely low before hand.
Man I was just working and didn’t even feel it. But I was able to get my blood sugar up with no problem. Orange juice did the trick.
Each and everyday I’m finding it to be harder and harder to keep up. It’s tricky. But I’m learning.
I hope you guys have a wonderful Wednesday.
Good morning good people. I know I have not wrote in a couple of days. But between life and work. I’m finding it a little difficult to keep up. I wanted to tell you guys what happened to me in the store on yesterday. Very very scary. So. As you guys know? Or for those who are new readers, and have not read my other blogs I suffer from type 1 diabetes. You know. The type you can’t get rid of. Anyways. Yesterday during my shopping trip at Walmart right when I was checking out. I actually went through the self check out. During my check out process I begin to feel confused, and disoriented 100%. Guys. This is a sign that my blood sugar was low. I knew it.
My trip took way too long, and it was almost 7pm at night and I haven’t eaten anything since lunch earlier in the day. I had to think quick on my feet, so I grabbed a king size Reese Cup.
I mean I was all over the place. I had a lot of grocerys but the good news is. I didn’t start feeling that way until I rung up the last item, so at least I was done.
The moral of this experience is. Guys. We have got to make sure we have something to eat on us at all time. Thank God I was in a store around lots of food. If I was stuck somewhere with no food. Let’s just say I would have probably ended up in the ER last night.
I’ll be back for more guys.
Try to enjoy your day as I would
Good morning everyone. I happen to feel great. So that means my blood sugar is grest.
I’m already aware that I’m going to have what I always have for breakfast which is toast, eggs, and bacon. I eat this everyday, but sometimes,I want things like pancakes.
Now there is nothing wrong with pancakes, however they will elevate your blood sugar. So with that being said I definitively have to be careful with that choice.
Yesterday was on ok day until I ate a bag of chips, and three chicken tenders for lunch. Now I felt really really bad after that. I regretted it so bad. Never again. Not that combination.
I hope you guys have a great morning. I will definitely try my best to write what’s going on during lunch today. 🙋🏾🙋🏾🙋🏾🙋🏾
